Saco do Mamanguá is the only tropical fjord in Brazil and one of the most cinematic settings on the entire Costa Verde. This speedboat tour takes you to explore this paradise of calm waters, surrounded by mountains covered in Atlantic Forest.

The boat is brand new and safe, with snorkeling masks, life jackets, and a cooler with ice available on board. Departure from Paraty Tourism Pier at 10:30 AM — arrive 15 minutes early.

Total duration: 6 hours. Maximum 15 passengers per departure. The route may be changed due to weather and sea conditions. ATTENTION: bringing your own cooler on board is NOT allowed.

Itinerary

  1. Departure at 10:30 AM from Paraty Tourism Pier, Historic Center (arrive 15 min early)
  2. Ilha dos Cocos — swim in crystal-clear waters and snorkel
  3. Pico do Pão de Açúcar (optional) — trail with incredible view of the tropical fjord
  4. Praia do Engenho — stop with nearby waterfall
  5. Praia do Cruzeiro — caiçara village + optional lunch (not included)
  6. Saco da Velha — preserved and tranquil beach
  7. Ilha do Mantimento — 10-minute stop (Twilight/castle filming location)
  8. Return to Paraty Tourism Pier
